I finished these ravens just in time for the ArtWalk opening reception! This acrylic piece is currently up for sale at Bucer’s. Thanks everyone for stopping by on Friday during the reception—it was so nice to see you all.
This piece is a direct result of 1. Being wayyy too into Norse (and Celtic) mythology, 2. Having a huge canvas and a bin of bored paints, 3. Me having an actual deadline, 4. My wonderful husband watching the kids while I worked away, and 5. My smart author friend recommending I get some Maggie Stiefvater audiobooks.
Perfect mix of things for a piece I’m very happy with.Wow, they are fabulous. I love the light!
